Kalanick Names Assistant Coaches


Snead State Community College Golf Coach Chuck Kalanick has announced Mason Rogers of Boaz and Nick Maddaloni of Eclectic have been named assistant golf coaches.

Rogers, a 2010 graduate of Boaz High School, will be the men’s assistant golf coach. Maddaloni will serve as the women’s assistant golf coach.

Mason will graduate in December with a Sports Management Degree from the University of North Alabama in Florence.

He played varsity golf at Boaz High School for five years and was a member of the 2007 and 2008 state championship teams and an individual state championship in 2008. In 2009, he won the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour Tournament of Champions in Valdosta, GA. He was the Future Masters winner his senior year. He played golf for four years at the University of North Alabama.  

Maddaloni has over 17 years of teaching and coaching experience. He is the current director of the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf in Prattville.

He graduated from Troy-Montgomery with a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Social Science and from Alabama State University with a Master’s degree in Math Education.
