Snead State Closed Monday and Tuesday

Dr. Robert Exley, Snead State Community College President, announced today that in observance of the Independence Day holiday, Snead State will be closed Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4.

The decision to close follows Governor Kay Ivey’s announcement earlier this week that state offices will be closed both days for the holiday.

“We express our appreciation to Governor Ivey for this additional day to spend with our family and friends, and we wish all of our students, faculty, staff and communities a safe and happy Independence Day,” Exley said.

Snead State classes will resume and offices will re-open at normal operating hours on Wednesday, July 5.
