Snead State Community College Offers ACT Prep Course to Help Students


Snead State Community College is offering a course to help students prepare for the American College Test (ACT).

With increased emphasis on ACT scores in determining entrance and scholarship recipients, students are pressured to make high schools. This course will help to prepare students to do their best on the entrance exam. The course includes ACT practice exams, problem solving strategies and review sessions.

The course will be held Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays from March 27 to April 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Administration Building on the Boaz campus. Pre-registration and payment is required, and the deadline to pre-register is March 12. To pre-register, visit or go by the Snead State Workforce Development Office located in the Bevill Center on the Boaz campus.

The cost for the class is $115 per person. The textbook used for the class may be purchased through the Snead State Bookstore, located off State Route 168 in Boaz.
