Snead State Horitculture Program Receives Donation from Marshall County Legislative Delegatio

The Marshall County Legislative Delegation presented a donation to Snead State Community College to benefit the horticulture program.

The $2,000 donation will aid in funding the construction of a greenhouse on the Boaz campus. An exact location for the greenhouse is yet to be determined.

“On behalf of the faculty, administration and staff at Snead State, I would like to thank the Marshall County Legislative Delegation for their generous gift and the leadership they provide to the community,” said Horticulture Instructor Dr. Tom Warren. “I would also like to thank my division chair, Deborah Rhoden, and the administration at Snead State for being receptive to the ideas I have had about teaching horticulture classes at Snead. None of this would be possible without their unyielding support and the positive response we have had from the student body.”
