For over 100 years Snead State Community College has offered our students and community a “Foundation” for life. We have established and maintained a balanced education that unites a challenging scholastic program with opportunities for them to grow as citizens. Worthwhile work and service to others with exceptional help from generous supporters has allowed the SSCC Foundation to be a big part of many of our students' college experience.
As we embark on our second century of life at Snead State, we are challenged to do more. We must develop programs, facilities and opportunities that will equip a new era of students to coexist successfully and ethically in the workplace. We must also challenge Snead State students to become active citizens and servants that will and can lead our expanding community.
The SSCC Foundation is committed to our mission of bettering the lives of the Snead students and our community. It is our goal for the Foundation to play an instrumental role in the future of the College. This can only be accomplished though generous gifts from alumni and friends. With your help and support, we intend to do just that. We ask that you join us in our important work and become part of Snead's future.
Sincerely,
Pat Courington Jr.
Snead State Community College Foundation President

The purpose of the Snead State Community College Foundation is to support, assist, and foster the educational and public service programs and activities of the College. The SSCC Foundation was established to seek and secure resources beyond the state and local revenues for the purpose of developing scholarships, programs, facilities, and opportunities for our students and community. The SSCC Foundation is a private, non-profit charitable organization. The Foundation qualifies as a tax exempt organization under Section 501(C )( 3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. A gift to the SSCC Foundation builds educational opportunities for individuals in our community.
For over 100 years Snead has offered students a foundation for life. We have educated thousands of leaders for American society—people who give more than they take.
We are committed to our mission of bettering the lives
of the Snead students and members of the community.
Please consider a gift to the Foundation to help us
continue this great journey
