For over 100 years Snead State Community College has offered our students and community a “Foundation” for life. We have established and maintained a balanced education that unites a challenging scholastic program with opportunities for them to grow as citizens. Worthwhile work and service to others with exceptional help from generous supporters has allowed the SSCC Foundation to be a big part of many of our students' college experience. As we embark on our second century of life at Snead State, we are challenged to do more. We must develop programs, facilities and opportunities that will equip a new era of students to coexist successfully and ethically in the workplace. We must also challenge Snead State students to become active citizens and servants that will and can lead our expanding community. The SSCC Foundation was established to seek and secure resources beyond the state and local revenues for the purpose of developing scholarships, programs, facilities, and opportunities for our students and community.
