Excellence breeds success...Your Success.
Affordable tuition rates, highly qualified faculty and staff, a variety of social activities, organizational opportunities, and a wide array of academic programs are the perfect mix for a successful college experience.

The philosophy at Snead State is to put you, the student, first. Always. The faculty at Snead State are experts in their field. They are not graduate students. They know their subject area. Working students need flexibility. You can take your classes weekday mornings, weekday evenings, weekends, and online any time. Classes at Snead State are smaller, giving you the opportunity to get one-on-one attention from your instructor. The average class size is less than 19 students.

Now is the time to further your education at Snead State. The faculty and staff at Snead State will help you reach your goals academically. If you know where you want to go and what you want to become, they will do everything in their power to help you get there. If you are like many first-time college students and don't know what you want out of life, they will offer you experiences and opportunities to help you find your niche, and work with you to fine tune your skills to become a success.

The student activities and organizations at Snead State play a part in making your college experience fun and memorable. If you are interested in being a voice for the students, you might enjoy becoming involved with the Student Government Association (SGA).

The Ambassadors are also a vital part of the College. The Ambassadors give campus tours, assist with College events such as Homecoming and Commencement, and assist with sporting events.

The SGA and Ambassadors are actively involved in organizing student events such as dances, S Day and charity events.

Students with an interest in fine arts can become involved in a variety of music organizations. The Jazz Band performs during basketball games, at campus events, and at concerts throughout the year. The College Street Singers provide entertainment at campus and sporting events as well as tour the community to perform at local schools and churches.

Athletics are an important part of campus life. Snead State teams compete in men's basketball and baseball and women's basketball, baseball, and tennis. The Snead State Cheerleaders and Dance Team promote school spirit and represent the College at athletic events.
