Meet our Recruiters
Whether you are planning to enroll in college for the first time, transferring to Snead State from another institution, coming back to school after some time off, or are already a Snead State student, we are here to help you through the exciting, yet sometimes overwhelming process.
We are located in the Student Success and Career Center on the top floor of the McCain Center. We look forward to partnering with you on your educational journey.
||Hi! My name is Brock Shelton and I am a Student Success Navigator at Snead State Community College. I grew up locally, in Guntersville. I attended both Snead State and The University of Alabama and obtained an A.S. in General Education and a B.A. in Communication and Information Sciences respectively. Snead State has given so much to me, and I am excited to pay it forward and help other students achieve their goals and dreams.
As a Student Success Navigator, I will help guide you through all of your academic endeavors here at Snead, everything from admissions, classes, campus engagement, and your degree plan until you have reached your goals. I am genuinely concerned about the happiness and success of every student that comes through Snead State!
If I can assist you in any way, please don’t hesitate to contact me at email@example.com, come by the McCain Student Success and Career Center, or call me at 256-840-4127. I am excited to work with each of you!
|| Hi! My name is Brady Keel and I am a Student Success Navigator at Snead State Community College and the sponsor for the Snead State Student Ambassadors. I attended Boaz High School and then began my college experience at Snead State. My days as a Parson remain as some of my most treasured memories and my involvement in Ambassadors, SGA, PTK and SSCC Theatre helped catapult me to experiences I never dreamed of. I completed my education at The University of Alabama and received my B.A. in Public Relations. As a student, I aspired to work here after meeting all the wonderful people that make Snead the place that it is. And now that dream has come true.
I want to help navigate you through your years as a Snead State Parson, whether that be through helping you choose classes, showing you how to get involved on campus, career coaching, or just discussing your possibilities and potential for the future. I want to pay forward all the help and support I received from the wonderful faculty and staff of Snead State.
Please don't hesitate to come to me with any questions you may have. My office is conveniently located on the first floor of the McCain Student Success Center. You may also reach me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (256) 840-4214. I look forward to seeing new faces and navigating you all to great heights!

As a Snead State Alumna, I am honored to give back to the college in the ways it has given so much to me.

||Hi! My name is Patti Morgan and I am the Career Coach at Snead State
Community College. I am originally from south Texas, and earned my
degrees from two universities there. I have worked in several different
capacities in my career path, and most recently worked at the Alabama
Career Center in Huntsville for the Gadsden Job Corps Center.
My position as Admission Counselor was to not only recruit and admit
students to our Center, but provided me the opportunity to work with the
WIA program recruiting, Launch Program Career Coaches, and learn the
Alabama Job Link employment system.
I look forward to working with you in student advising, career testing
and advisement, and career building skills. My contact information is firstname.lastname@example.org or 256-571-0613. Hope to meet you soon!

admissions and financial aid process, and I am committed to helping you
finish what you start and successfully complete your degree. I am so
proud to represent Snead State and all we stand for – our history and
long tradition of excellence, our commitment to student success, and our
