The Nursing programs offers an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and a Practical Nursing certificate program (PN). The Nursing program's mission is to prepare professional nurses (RNs) to address health care needs of the community in both acute and long-term settings. The curriculum includes content that allows students to attain knowledge and understanding of the prevention of illness, maintenance, promotion and restoration of health, a safe and effective care environment, and psychologial integrity of individuals across the life span. The nursing courses include classroom instruction with guided clinical experiences n varied health care facilities.
