Only applicants who are citizens of the United States are considered for admission to the College, with the following exeptions:
An immigrant (non-citizen) who has been issued an Alien Registration Receipt Card (Permanent Resident or Resident Alien) by the Immigration and Naturalization Service; and
Parolees (non-citizens) who have been paroled by the United States Government and who have been issued “I-94 Cards” stamped “Parolee;” and
A
non-citizen who meets admission requirements for a first-time student, transfer student, accelerated high school student, or dual enrollment/dual credit high school student.
Non-citizens who hold the Alien Registration Card and the “I-94 Parolee Card” must present these documents before being considered for admission to the College. In addition, the applicant must request that official transcripts in English from the high school or any college attended be forwarded directly to the Snead Student Services Office. An admission application and, if applicable, an in-state residency form must be submitted.

PPE Deadline Extended for Freshmen
Snead State Community College has extended its deadline until Friday, July 10, for incoming freshmen to sign-up for the Parson Preview Experience.

Two Snead State Community College baseball players have been drafted to play professional baseball. Dustin Crane of Gaylesville and Darius Rudolph of Gadsden now have the opportunity to play for the Washington Nationals baseball organization.
