An applicant who has never enrolled at Snead State Community College must submit the following documents:
A completed admission application.
Required transcripts;
A first-time college student must have a high school transcript with date of graduation or a GED certificate sent directly to the Student Services Office
A high school student enrolled in the accelerated program must have the appropriate recommendation form that list the specific approved courses from the high school certifying official.
A transfer student must have official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended sent directly to the Student Services Office. If the postsecondary institutions are not regionally accredited, high school transcripts must be submitted as well as college transcripts.
EXCEPTION: An applicant who has a baccalaureate or higher degree will need to submit only a transcript form the institution awarding the highest degree, unless a degree is desired from Snead State Community College . Official transcripts from all colleges attend will be required to receive a degree
A transient student must submit a transient letter that lists the specific approved courses from the parent institution.
An in-state residency form, if applicable; and
Official documentation of compliance with the Selective Service Act, if applicable.
Note: Credentials for admission, such as transcripts, should be sent directly to the Snead State Student Services Office.
A student who has been previously enrolled at Snead State but has not been in attendance for one or more semesters, excluding summer, must submit the following items before further enrollment.
a readmission application.
Official transcripts from all institutions attended since last enrollment at Snead.
An in-state residency form, if applicable; and
Official documentation of compliance with the Selective Service Act, if applicable.

Teams Unite to Fight Breast Cancer
Snead State and Northwest Shoals Community College competed against each other on Wednesday, Oct. 1, on the volleyball court. Off the court, the two united to support the fight against breast cancer.
Constitution Day at Snead State Community College was a lesson in “conflict and compromise” as three Boaz High School students presented a program that has won them regional and national acclaim.
Snead State Community College students had the opportunity to learn more about how to become involved and enhance their college experience during All Aboard Day on Thursday, Sept. 11.
