The Snead State men’s basketball team defeated Itawamba Monday night 60-56 in a close match to earn their first win of the season. The Lady Parsons lost to Itawamba 78-61.

Snead State Hosts Basketball Halloween HOOPla


Snead State Community College will be hosting a free basketball Halloween HOOPla on Tuesday, Oct. 21, starting at 6 p.m. Prior to the HOOPla, several campus organizations and departments are sponsoring a trunk or treat in the parking lot beside the gym.

Snead State Sponsors Memorial Scholarship Run


Snead State Community College will host the third annual Jennifer Garmany Hallmark 5K Memorial Scholarship Run on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014. The race begins at 8 a.m. at the Plunkett-Wallace Gymnasium.
