Parson Days is the new student orientation at Snead State Community College. During Parson Days, students receive valuable information about advising, class registration, parking, student IDs, and campus engagement. Students are able to map their course to graduation.

This year, Parson Days is being held July 15-20 and July 22-24. All dates are at the Boaz campus, with the exception of July 18, which will be at the Arab Instructional Site. Sessions will be available at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m., but students will only be able to register for sessions set aside specifically for their majors. There are also sessions designated for students who are undecided about their major course of study. To view the major-specific session times for Parson Days, please click here.

Please be sure the checklist to the left is completed ASAP. Priority registration for Parson Days sessions will be given to students who have completed all of the items. Sessions are limited to the first 50 students who register. Registration information for sessions can be found here. Students will be able to register for a Parson Days session beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 1.

Each session will begin promptly on time. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time and expect to stay up to two hours for your session. Students will register the day of their session.
