The TRiO program is hosting a trip to Berry College in Rome, Ga., for participants in Student Support Services and Upward Bound. Students will leave from the Snead State campus at 7 a.m. The trip will include a visit to the Martha Berry Museum.

Required orientation and early registration for first-time students will be Friday, July 18, beginning at 9 a.m. or Monday, July 21 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Bevill Center. Students must attend only one of the two days.

Participants in the TRiO Upward Bound program will be job shadowing on July 18 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The TRiO program will take its Upward Bound students on a trip to Memphis to visit Graceland, the Memphis Zoo, the Brooks Museum, Mud Island River Park, and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The students will also stroll down Belae Street and ride on the Memphis Queen Riverboat. The students will leave the Snead State campus at 6 a.m. on July 23 and return on July 25.
